  • Eligibility by Age for Private Consultations

    • We welcome all dogs over the age of 16 weeks for private consultations, provided they have received all necessary vaccinations.

  • Preparation for Your Consultation

    • For an effective training session, please have high value treats on hand, such as chopped Prime 100 roll, shredded roast chicken, or air-dried meat treats. 
    • While a harness is optional, a front clip harness is recommended for dogs that pull. 
    • A simple flat collar and leash will be needed—please avoid extendable leads, slip leads, or choke chains.

  • What to Expect During the Consultation

    • Private consultations take place at the comfort of your home or an outdoor location nearby of your choosing. 
    • These sessions are tailored to address a range of behavioral and training concerns, from basic commands like 'sit', 'lie down', and 'stay', to more complex issues such as reactivity or obsessive barking. 
    • For dogs exhibiting resource guarding, anxiety, or aggression, these behaviors are managed uniquely, with severe cases potentially requiring a referral to a canine veterinary behaviorist.

  • Pricing for Private Consultations

    • The initial consultation is $170 for a comprehensive 90-minute session. 
    • For a more extensive exploration of your dog’s needs, a 2-hour initial consultation is available at $220. 
    • Follow-up consultations are offered at $120 per hour to ensure continued progress. 
    • Please note, for locations requiring over 45 minutes of travel, an additional fee may apply.
    • Payment is required at the time of booking.
