1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst: I never withhold a dogs regular meals or access to water in order to achieve more motivation during training.
2. Freedom from Discomfort: I never use equipment or techniques during training that cause a dog to feel discomfort.
3. Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease: I never inflict pain on a dog in order to stop unwanted behaviours.
4. Freedom to Express Normal Behaviour: I never stop a dog from displaying normal behaviours, even if the behaviour is deemed a problem (eg, my dogs are still allowed to dig, but in the digging pit I have provided. They are also still allowed to bark, but in open spaces away from neighbours that could find it frustrating).
5. Freedom from Fear and Distress: I will never use fear of being punished to ensure my dog works for me.
Always train with kindness.
